Rimpact Gravel/XC Tubeless Tire Insert Description:

Rimpact Gravel/XC Tubeless Tire Inserts are a lightweight insert that are optimized for use on gravel bikes and racy XC mountain bikes. These inserts are constructed out of a high density, closed cell, and cross linked polyethylene foam, which resists stretching and tearing for a long useful life. Additionally, this foam provides incredible tire sidewall stability, resistance to sharp impacts on the rim, and a reduction in trail vibrations transmitted to the rider. Thanks to the shape and size of these inserts, if the tire loses all of its air mid ride, the inserts will act as run flat protection for the rim and provide enough control of the bike to be able to ride to a place that will allow for the flat to get fixed. These inserts are sold as a 2 pack, and included with the inserts are specially designed tubeless tire valves with a removable core as well as a vinyl decal set for each rim.

NOTE: Rimpact tire inserts will not absorb sealant but it is encouraged to use up to an additional 25% more tire sealant to account for the amount of sealant that will stick to the surface of their inserts instead of to the inside of the rim and tire. Also, inserts can be used on hookless rims, but if too little or too much tire pressure is used tire may unseat from the rim. Please follow tire and rim manufacturers recommendations for tire pressure to ensure optimal performance and durability of the tubeless tire components.
