Muc Off Hey Dipstick! Tubeless Sealant Check Tool Description:
The Muc Off Hey Dipstick! Tubeless Sealant Check Tool was born out of the desire to be able to check out the health of tubeless tire sealant that has been previously installed into a tire without having to dismount the tire. The pink anodized aluminum knob has an ergonomic shape and is knurled to make it easy to pick up and use the tool, and the stainless steel dipstick shaft is thin enough to easily fit through tubeless valve core. Once the dipstick reaches the level of the tire sealant, precisely machined grooves pick up the level of the tire sealant and allows for a very quick check once the dipstick is removed from the valve. In short, this tool will make quick work of checking the health of your tubeless tire system, allowing you to get on the trail more quickly and with more confidence that your tires are ready for whatever is thrown at them.
Features:
- Ergonomic and knurled knob is CNC machined out of 6063 aluminum alloy and anodized in Muc Off's signature pink color for easy grip, comfort, and long lasting great looks
- Dipstick shaft is constructed out of 304 Stainless Steel that will not react to chemicals typically found in tubeless tire sealant
- Thin design will easily glide inside of tubeless valves and is long enough to reach the tire sealant level in the tire for accuracy when checking the sealant
- Sealant level indicator grooves are precisely machined into the dipstick to easily and accurately check the health of the installed tire sealant

Directions for use:
- Secure bike, ideally in a repair stand, but at the very least lean it next to something so the bike will not roll
- Rotate the wheel so the tubeless valve is all the way on the bottom (or at the 6 o’clock position) with the valve completely perpendicular to the ground and wait a few minutes for the sealant to form in the base of the tire
- Let out all of the air in the tire and remove valve core or open up the tubeless valve
- Insert Hey Dipstick! in through the open valve until it gently touches against the inside of the tire
- Simply pull tool out to check the health of the tire sealant
- If your sealant is drying out or the level looks low, then simply add more sealant
- If the sealant is completely dried out, then it is best practice to open up the tire, clean out the remaining sealant from the tire, add a fresh serving of sealant, then reseat the tire
- If the sealant is good or just needed a little top off, reinstall the valve core, reflate the tire, and go for a ride!
Helpful tip: Check the level using the dipstick when you first set up your tires with sealant so you know the correct level that your sealant should be at. Before cleaning the dipstick, mark a line at where the fresh sealant comes up to on the tool with a marker pen so you know what level it needs to be on each subsequent check, and top up as needed.
