Increased tire width generally improves rolling resistance and comfort but generally provides an aerodynamic detriment when paired with a narrower rim; SRAM XPLR tires and wheels provide a wider inner and outer profile for both wheel and tire, providing a better aerodynamic transition with inherit rolling and compressive properties. XPLR Slick tires present an ideal center for all-out speed on paved sections with a subtle yet advantageous textured outside for more confidence when cornering.
