Zipp Goodyear XPLR Slick tires improve rolling efficiency and speed when paired in combination with Zipp XPLR 303 wheels for a tire-wheel combination that boosts traction and comfort in more grueling gravel and paved riding conditions. Increased tire width generally improves rolling resistance and comfort but generally provides an aerodynamic detriment when paired with a narrower rim; SRAM XPLR tires and wheels provide a wider inner and outer profile for both wheel and tire, providing a better aerodynamic transition with inherit rolling and compressive properties. XPLR Slick tires present an ideal center for all-out speed on paved sections with a subtle yet advantageous textured outside for more confidence when cornering.
