Zipp 303 Firecrest wheels were designed to make you faster. Zipp focused on making the wheels as efficient as possible because efficiency=speed. Zipp made the 303 Firecrest wheels more efficient by creating a wider and shallower rim profile. It allowed for wider tires to reduce rolling resistance, it helped reduce weight, and the bulbous design proved to be more aerodynamic.
