The SRAM G2 Ultimate Disc Brake represents a complete effort to assemble every material and design benefit in to an option that handles the extremes of cross country and trail riding with ease. SRAM implemented every performance detail in their arsenal when constructing the Ultimate line; G2 Ultimate calipers aim to offer a competitive lightweight edge with a resilient Titanium hardware set. Responsive engagement improves braking control, G2 Ultimate calipers engage quickly with solid feel and release smoothly as a result of the Moly-Coated treatment applied to the 4 aluminum pistons. Installation and maintenance of braking fluid is made easy by the BleedingEdge port layout that places the bleed port on the bottom of each caliper, a choice that produces a consistent bleed with a more natural fill process.
