The Shimano XT FH-M8000 Rear Disc Hub is a lightweight, smooth rolling, and very reliable rear mountain bike hub. This hub features Shimano's Centerlock brake mounting option, which keeps the system weight down while helping to offer reliable braking power. The loose ball bearing hubs are easily adjustable and utilize a highly polished hub bearing race and specially ground cones to help achieve extremely low rolling resistance. The freehub is quick engaging, ensuring your putting power down no matter where you are in the pedal stroke. Protecting all of these internals are a series of double contact bearing seals, ensuring these hubs last a long time and helping to keep the maintenance to a minimum.
