The Optislick stainless steel inner cable features a special coating that helps to greatly reduce the friction compared to a regular stainless steel inner cable, and this same coating will help to reduce binding and corrosion. The SP41 housing is reinforced to provide excellent stiffness, no compression, and further aids in the shifting performance of the system. Last but not least, the kit includes the crimps, ferrules, and hardware needed to complete the install of the cable onto the bike.
