Paul Components 7/8" Boxcar Stem Description:
The Paul Components 7/8" Boxcar Stem leverages all of the material and machining expertise in the offices of Paul Components Engineering to create a lightweight, robust, and beautiful stem. Very precise and extensive use of CNC machining on a chunk of 2024 aerospace grade aluminum alloy creates the signature rounded box shape of this stem, which results in a stem that has excellent fatigue life and stiffness while keeping the weight in check. And the wide faceplate has 6 stainless steel T25 Torx bolts clamping down evenly on the handlebars so even at torque ratings that are safe for super light aluminum and titanium handlebars, there is more than enough clamp force to keep the handlebars from slipping.

- Made of USA sourced 2024 Aerospace Aluminum, which has a higher fatigue resistance and yield strength than 6061-T6 Aluminum and thus can take more abuse
- Precision CNC machining to extremely tight tolerances to ensure these stems are ridiculously tough and stiff (in testing, these stems have been pushed through 1,000,000 cycles of above normal use stress testing without a single problem), while keeping the weight in check
- Thick face plate with 6 stainless steel T25 Torx screws for even, powerful clamping force on the handlebars
- Rounded box shape to body is stiffer than round shape for better control of bike
