The extensive siping in the tread pulls water away from where the rubber meets the road which provides extra grip when the conditions turn ugly. The tires also feature a reflective sidewall that makes it much easier for you to be seen in low light conditions, and the various sizes that these tires come in make it easier to find a set to fit your bike.
