HED Ardennes RA Carbon Wheels provide a groundbreaking hand built carbon fiber rim platform with ultra-responsive braking technology and tubeless compatibility. HED Ardennes RA wheels feature Black Turbine, a patented braking surface, defined by a textured, all-black surface that increases braking power in both wet and dry conditions. Dry conditions make for better stopping power that requires less force at the brake lever that in turn makes for more responsive braking. Wet conditions are where Black Turbine shines, moving water away from the braking surface, for a drastic increase in performance over standard alloy or carbon fiber rims. A generous 25mm external width and 21mm width along with tubeless compatibility enable users to further save rotational weight for an even further speed advantage.
