Wolf Tooth Components Direct Mount Aero Chainring Description:
The Wolf Tooth Components Direct Mount Aero Chainring is designed for riders that are looking to optimize the setup and performance of their 1x12 speed or 1x13 speed SRAM drivetrains. Precision CNC machining using 7075-T6 aluminum alloy creates a tooth profile that engages with a longer section of the chain as it wraps over the chainring for better power transfer, less chances of dropping the chain over rough terrain, and a longer useful chain and chainring lifespan. And the careful machining of the mounting area of the chainring ensures a very tight fit on the crankset for a more seamless aero profile; the tight fit will also ensure that the chainring bolts will require less maintenance and tightening to keep everything solid and quiet. Add all of these features together, and these chainrings are an incredible performance upgrade that will dial in the gearing and performance of an adventure, gravel, or road bike.
Note: Chainrings are designed for 1x drivetrains only. Drop-Stop B tooth profile is not compatible with 12 speed Shimano HG+ chains, 12 Speed KMC chains, or with 13 speed Campagnolo chains.
