The Shimano 105 BR-R7010 Road Direct Mount Rim Brake Calipers are a low profile set of road bike rim brake calipers that are designed to attach directly to a bicycles rear triangle or to a fork to create a lighter weight, more aerodynamic, and stronger brake. The dual pivot design, stiff forged alloy arms, and low friction pivots result in a brake that offers impressive power and modulation. Despite the sleek lines and overall low profile, these brakes will clear 28mm wide tires and fit around wider rims which will allow for a smoother riding bike. The addition of a barrel adjuster for on the fly brake cable adjustments, a quick release lever for easy wheel installs and removals, and cartridge style brake pads stuffed with durable R55C4 all-weather rubber brake pads round out an affordable brake caliper with excellent power and braking modulation.
Note: These calipers are designed specifically to mount onto frames and onto forks that will accept direct mount brake calipers. These calipers do not have a central mounting post like a traditional side pull rim brake caliper.
