This rack is constructed out of oversized aluminum to create a sturdy and lightweight rack that holds up incredibly well to foul weather and abuse, and this rack is compatible with any bag from Ortlieb as well as many hook and loop style trunk bags and panniers from other manufacturers. What makes this rack unique is there a quick disconnect system in the struts and the stabilizer that attaches to the seatpost that will allow this rack to be installed and removed from the bike very rapidly, which transforms a bike from a lightweight machine to crush weekend hot laps with friends to a speedy commuter rig in a matter of seconds.
