OneUp Components EDC V2 Tool Description:
The OneUp Components EDC V2 Tool was originally designed to utilize the available space in a forks steerer tube to carry tools needed to fix a bike in an emergency, and its compact size also allows this tool to fit inside a OneUp EDC Pump for ultimate versatility and to maximize the available on-bike storage space. The plastic body of the EDC V2 Tool keeps things light and quiet, and the addition of a sealing O-Ring on top seals out the environment and weather to keep the inside contents clean and dry. A 10 function multitool and a tire lever/chain breaker combo with additional tool functions are cleverly integrated to ensure there is the right gear on hand to tackle emergency repairs and get a bike back to a condition that it can finish the bike ride. Regardless of whether you are using your bike for short urban trips and commuting or getting out for a long epic, the EDC V2 Tool provides the tools and space savings to make sure you have all of the gear you need to get to your destination.
Features:
- Size and shape is designed to be stored inside of a fork's steerer tube via the OneUp Threaded EDC Top Cap, a OneUp EDC Threadless Carrier, or installed inside of a One Up EDC Pump (pumps and fork mounting solutions sold separately)
- Plastic carrier body is lightweight, will dampen vibrations, and all of the tools fit tightly in the body to prevent unwanted noises when the EDC Tool is stored
- Top of EDC Tool body has a tab to make it easy to remove the tool from the steerer tube or pump, and has an O-Ring seal just below the top lip to ensure moisture and debris stays out
- Carrier body also features a spot for spare quick link storage and includes the ability to thread in a 12,16 or 20g CO2 cartridge into the bottom OR to thread on a sealed storage capsule for the ability to carry additional gear
- Two different size storage capsules are included with the EDC Tool to provide additional storage for items like emergency cash, zip ties, tire boots and glueless patches, a tire plug kit, and other tools
- Slim profile will also fit inside of the in-frame storage area that many bike brands are building into their bike frames, and this small size will leave room in the storage compartment for tubes, other repair essentials, or anything else the rider may need for their ride
