Continental 700c Race Inner Tube (Presta) (18 - 25mm) (42mm)
I ordered two of these tubes with my new Michelin tires. I used a stepped inflation process when installing the new tires/tubes, allowing any twists or wrinkles to adjust out of the tube. After steps of 30 PSI, deflate, reinflate to 50 PSI, deflate, reinflate to 70 PSI, hold and then inflate to 100 PSI. one of the tubes literally exploded when I inflated it to 100 PSI. It held for about 30 seconds then exploded with a very loud bang. I ended up reusing the old tube, which worked just fine. It could have been my fault, maybe I nicked the tube when I installed it, IDK. The other tube worked well and is on the bike.
