The 45NRTH Gravdal Tubeless Studded Gravel/Commuter Tire is designed to provide strong levels of traction for slushy and icy winter time bicycle adventures and commutes. Over 240 carbide steel studs line the side and shoulder knobs for more bite on slick surfaces, and additional siping in the side and center knobs help to clear the tread of slush and debris for even more grip. When encountering a drier patch, the center tread has a ramped leading edge to reduce noise and vibration, and also helps to cut down on a bit of rolling resistance. The folding style 60TPI Tubeless Ready casing is more supple and lighter in weight than a wire beaded tire with a lower TPI rating, and when these tires are set up as a tubeless set up with tire sealant and a properly sealed rim, lower tire pressures can be used for improved comfort, flat protection, and traction. Add in several different sizes and reflective sidewalls for increased visibility in low light conditions, and the result is a tire that will increase a riders confidence and overall safety when tackling biking adventures in a winter wonderland.
